Loukia Chorafa is the Marketing & Communications Director at Mastercard, leading strategic marketing and communications across Greece, Cyprus, and Malta. Since joining Mastercard in 2017 and assuming her current role in 2021, she has played a pivotal role in driving business growth, strengthening B2B partnerships, and unlocking new commercial opportunities.

Her focus lies in developing integrated marketing strategies that support Mastercard’s business objectives, enhance brand relevance, and deliver measurable impact across key customer segments—including financial institutions, merchants, fintechs, and government stakeholders.

Prior to Mastercard, Loukia spent 14 years in advertising and communications, managing integrated campaigns for leading brands in telecommunications, FMCGs, and retail.

She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing from the Athens University of Economics and Business.

Loukia is a member of CAPA (Communication Agencies and Professionals Association) and serves on the Corporate Responsibility Committee of the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce. She actively volunteers with NGOs in the DEIB field.
