Pakis Papadimitriou has been active in the field of sustainability since 1995. He is an experienced management systems coordinator and a passionate advocate for sustainability in business.

He holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and an MSc in Production Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago, USA, and is a Certified Business Sustainability Management Professional by the University of Cambridge (CISL).

In 2024, he joined Pharmathen as Director ESG, responsible for developing and implementing the Group’s Sustainability Strategy. From 2021 to 2024, he served as Head of ESG at Eurobank, leading ESG culture integration, establishing the bank’s ESG community, and contributing to continuous operational improvement.

Before that, he worked at Athens International Airport (AIA) for 22 years as Director of Quality & Sustainability. His career began in engineering roles in the aluminum and telecommunications industries.

Pakis has been a member of the Corporate Responsibility Committee of the Hellenic-American Chamber of Commerce since its founding in 2003 and has served as Chairman since 2016. From 2022 to 2024, he was Chairman of the Coordinating Committee on ESG, Corporate Governance, and Green Banking of the Hellenic Bank Association, and a member of its Executive Committee.
