Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights

All Content constitutes the intellectual property of CAPA and is governed by national and international provisions on Intellectual and Industrial Property, except for the expressly recognized rights of third parties.

Therefore, reproduction, republication, copying, sale, transmission, distribution, publication, translation, or modification of the Content, in whole or in part, in any manner, without reference to CAPA as the source, is strictly prohibited.

By exception, individual storage and copying of parts of the Content on a personal computer is permitted for strictly personal use, without any intention of commercial or other exploitation, and always under the condition that the source is cited. This shall not, in any case, imply the granting of intellectual property rights.

The names and trademarks included in the CAPA Site are registered trademarks owned by CAPA.

Logos, trademarks, distinctive signs, and trade names of third parties may appear on the Site from time to time. All such elements are the property of their respective owners. Any references to products, services, processes, or other information by trade name, trademark, manufacturer, supplier, or otherwise, do not imply or constitute endorsement, sponsorship, or recommendation by CAPA and remain the sole responsibility of the respective right holders.

Modification of Content

The information and Content included on the Site are subject to change at the discretion of CAPA without prior notice. CAPA shall in no event be liable for any damage resulting from any partial or complete modification of the Content.

Limitation of CAPA’s Liability

While CAPA makes every effort to ensure that the information and overall Content of the Site are as accurate, clear, up-to-date, complete, correct, and available as possible, it does not guarantee or accept liability for this. The information, services, material, and all Content are provided “as is,” without any express or implied warranty, all of which CAPA expressly disclaims.

CAPA does not guarantee that the Content, pages, or material of the Site will be provided uninterrupted or error-free, or that such errors will be corrected. Under no circumstances does CAPA guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of the Content. Furthermore, CAPA does not guarantee that any linked websites or third-party sites referred to on the Site, or the servers through which they are made available, are free from viruses or other harmful components.

In no event, including negligence, shall CAPA be liable for any damages arising from the use of the Site.

Publication of Articles, Comments, and Third-Party Updates

The Site may from time to time publish texts, articles, studies, press releases, updates, and other material from third parties on business and current affairs topics. The posting of third-party articles and comments does not imply that CAPA endorses the positions or opinions expressed therein.

Outdated Material

The CAPA Site may contain published material that is no longer valid, such as press releases or immediate updates.

Newsletters

Newsletters received by Users who subscribe to mailing lists are the intellectual property of CAPA and are therefore protected under the applicable legislation. CAPA reserves the right to refuse a person’s subscription or to remove them from its mailing lists at any time.

Disclaimer of Legal Advice

Each User must comply with the provisions of Greek, European, and International Law and refrain from any unlawful or abusive behavior while using the Site and CAPA’s online services.

Specifically, the following acts are strictly prohibited:

  • Any interference with the Site intended to mislead third parties regarding the origin of its Content or to harm the image and reputation of CAPA or associated entities;
  • The installation of code, software, or files that may cause malfunctions or impede others’ access to the Site;
  • Causing harm to any third party through the use of the Site in any way.

Any damage caused to the Site, CAPA, or the network in general through illegal, improper, or non-compliant use of the Site by a User shall be the sole responsibility of that User. CAPA reserves all legal rights to protect its interests, and the offender is obligated to compensate CAPA for any damages incurred.

Liability for Third-Party Content – Links to Third-Party Websites

CAPA bears no responsibility for the content or services of other websites to which it provides links (links, hyperlinks), nor does it guarantee their availability. Such links are provided for user convenience only and do not imply any form of endorsement by CAPA. Any problems that may arise during the visit/use of linked websites fall exclusively within the responsibility of those websites, and Users should address their concerns to them directly.

Modification of the Terms of Use

CAPA reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use from time to time. Each User must check the content of these pages for possible changes. Continued use of the Site after any such changes constitutes unconditional acceptance of the modified Terms.
